The Wikimedia Foundation is looking for a Project Manager for the Communications department of the Wikimedia Foundation. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management, you will work closely with multiple teams and departments on projects that support the Foundation's annual plan and its related strategies.
You will join a small, strong, experienced team focused on effectiveness—a key annual plan goal. Your work will help to support and extend the capabilities of the 50+ members of Wikimedia’s Communications department. You will project manage cross-team initiatives and support our collective work, liaising regularly with and across the Communications department’s teams, and acting as a supportive project partner to writers, designers, marketers, PR/media, and movement communications specialists.
This is a remote position working with colleagues in the USA, the UK, Europe, Africa, Asia, and Southeast Asia.
